Seating at Ascend Amphitheater
Ascend Amphitheater is an outdoor amphitheater in downtown Nashville featuring reserved seating in the lower bowl and a general admission lawn area. The venue is situated along the Cumberland River with beautiful views of the Nashville skyline.
Seating Options
- Reserved Seating Bowl – Assigned seats in the lower amphitheater bowl with excellent sightlines of the stage
- General Admission Lawn – First-come, first-served lawn seating at the back of the venue; no assigned spots
- Lawn Chair Rentals – Lawn chairs may be rented on-site or reserved in advance for select events; outside chairs are not permitted
- Pit – For select events, pit access is available on a first-come, first-served basis
We recommend arriving early to secure your preferred spot on the lawn, especially for high-demand shows.
Parking at Ascend Amphitheater
Ascend Amphitheater does not have a dedicated parking lot. Guests are encouraged to use nearby paid public parking garages and surface lots throughout downtown Nashville.
Getting Here
- Public Parking – Multiple paid garages and lots are available throughout downtown Nashville near 310 1st Avenue South
- Nashville MTA Bus – Direct bus service is available to the venue; visit www.nashvillemta.org or call (615) 862-5950 for routes and schedules
- Rideshare Drop-Off – Drop off and pick up at Gate 1 or Gate 2 on 1st Avenue South; after the show, rideshare pickup is at Gate 2
- Bicycle Parking – Bike racks are located along 1st Avenue for all shows
Traffic in downtown Nashville can become backed up on event nights. We recommend arriving early and allowing extra travel time.
Box Office Information
The Ascend Amphitheater box office is located near Gate 1 at the northwest corner of the venue. The box office opens two hours prior to gate time on each event day.

Tickets are available online and at the box office on event days. We recommend purchasing tickets in advance to guarantee your entry.
Gates
Gates generally open 60–90 minutes before showtime. Check your specific event page for exact times, as they may vary by show.
